Real Estate:

Scott Young currently holds a Real Estate License in the State of California (CalBRE #01725270), but is no longer a practicing REALTOR®. His past client list includes everything from popular TV shows, to $100 million investment funds, to the average first time home buyer. As a well-recognized expert in the real estate industry, Scott Young is regularly invited for speaking engagements on topics ranging from distressed properties to property marketing and market trends; all topics included in his training programs. Scott’s well-earned reputation for honesty and integrity, as well as his expertise in the market place, has helped him establish a strong network of real estate professionals throughout Southern California. Scott Young’s real estate career spans nearly 30 years. He has been an active Real Estate Investor in the Southern California Area since 1988, and continues to this day. He was an active REALTOR® from Dec. 2005, until Dec. 2016. During those 11 years, Scott spent time as an Agent with Prudential California, TNG Real Estate Consultants and others. He was also a Commercial Investment Agent for Surterre Properties.

Real Estate Training:

Scott Young currently teaches 2 Real Estate Training Programs. The first program is focused on Real Estate Investing. The course spans from the beginner to advanced levels with the primary focus being on “Flip Properties.” A few of the topics covered in Scott’s program are: How to Find Properties, Marketing Tactics to Attract Sellers, Deal Evaluations, Negotiation Techniques, Project Cost Analysis, Do’s and Don’ts of Rehab, How to Comp a Property, and Highly Successful Resale Techniques. The second program is for the Real Estate Agent. Focused on helping agents achieve a balance between a steady, reliable income while maintaining a nice quality of life, he teaches agents how close at least 1 deal a month working just 5 hours a day and only 5 days a week. Both of Scott Young’s training programs have been described by their attendees as, “Life Changing.”  

Corporation:

Scott Young is a Founding Partner and the CEO of L.J. Poe & Company, LLC. L.J. Poe is focused on Real Estate Investments in the Southern California area.  

Charity:

Scott Young is the Founder of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Help Abused Kids. The charity’s focus is helping severely abused children get the reconstructive surgeries and counseling resources they need. Scott is proud to announce the charity is also developing a college tuition program as well as a summer camp program.
